Thanks to its unique, patented fitting system Elastilon® most notably allows floating installation of solid wood floors and strip parquet. Complicated gluing, nails, screws and correcting slight unevenness in screed are all a thing of the past. When contrasted with the conventional gluing method for solid wood floorboards you can fit floors 50-70% faster using our adhesive Elastilon® underlay and without the usual need for special tools. Elastilon® has proven itself to be excellent for use in residential and commercial property, offices, banks and hotels, as well as in gymnasiums where uniform resilience in the floor structure is absolutely essential. Furthermore with Elastilon® it is possible to obtain outstanding results In terms of acoustics. When compared to conventional floor structure with nails/screws you can achieve an improvement in impact sound of up to 18db(A). Elastilon® Basic is suitable for all 15-21mm solid wood floorboards apart from beech and Aleppo pine.
